New start time 18.30 for Tuesday 21st Dec Free Christmas event

Our free Christmas song event with Rah Rah Theatre on Tuesday 21st December 2021 - gates open at 18.00 for (free) mince pies and mulled wine then the event starts at 18.30 - running time approx. 1 hour.

Feel good Christmas tunes - do join in!

We are an outside venue below 4,000 capacity. All our events are subject to prevailing Public Health measures and also our Conditions of Entry (details in Plan Your Visit section of this website).

"A collection of ‘feel good’ Christmas songs performed by our ‘Christmas Carollers’. Rah Rah Theatre Company has been running for 20 years. So far, the company has produced and toured 50 highly successful shows to over 1000 different venues. We pride ourselves in writing and producing our own original material. All our productions are interactive and aim to encourage audiences to join in as much as possible, so as to create a memorable experience. We believe this to be why venues invite us back time and time again."

St George's Garrison Church in Woolwich, with its modern canopy roof and stunning mosaics, is both an evocative ruin and a contemporary space. Designed by Thomas H Wyatt in an Italian-Romanesque style, the Church was built between 1862-63 to serve the Royal Artillery in Woolwich. Today it is run by a local group, the Woolwich Garrison Church Trust who are committed to making it available for all to visit and enjoy. Directly opposite the Barracks in Woolwich, South East London, come and enjoy its beauty and peaceful garden.
