Events over Easter weekend

The Church held two events over the Easter weekend. On Sunday, April 5th, The Royal Borough of Greenwich Nepalese Society held a celebration of the Nepalese New Year.

The church was very well decorated, and guests were given a range of Nepali food and drink, as well as being entertained by music and speeches. It was a happy event on a rather cold afternoon and was an example of the close links which have now been formed between the Church and the Nepali and Gurkha Community.

On Easter Monday, the church hosted a child's birthday party. The parents were keen to hold a birthday party for their young child in the church, and we received the following generous comments from them after the event:

“We took great care of such a beautiful space. We truly had a wonderful time, and our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed celebrating at the Garrison Church. It made the occasion all the more special.”
