St George’s Garrison Church Festival - Tuesday 18th August

On Tuesday 18th August we have a beautiful blend of activities and entertainment!

We are delighted to welcome The Heritage Hub, bringing Ghanaian entertainment, food and culture, music from Louise Hatch, an open mic poetry workshop from 'Partners in Rhyme' and an evening performance from Ngati Ranana, London Maori Club.

Partners in Rhyme was founded by Lviss, https://www.instagram.com/imth... as an open mic community event in Woolwich. Drop in to his workshop in the gazebo 4-7pm and share your poetry, or have a listen to the talented poets in our community. 

Ngati Ranana London Māori Club provides New Zealanders residing in the United Kingdom and others interested in Māori culture a place to teach, learn and participate in Māori culture. Members strive to uphold values of Kotahitanga, Whanaungatanga and Manaakitanga. Ngāti Rānana do this through performance, advancing the mana of te ao Māori in the UK and Europe.
