Join us for a week of fun for everyone! Day one is brought to you by Taru Arts, with an evening performance from The Mooches

Doors open at 11am for free Childrens Arts and Crafts, and free face painting from Fairytales and Facepaints then Taru Arts will be bringing Brazilian magic to the first day of our festival. With over 20 years of creating community Carnvials, Taru has a wealth of experience creating that festival feel! Activities for the day include - 
11am Children's Arts & Crafts

2pm  Carnival themed Crafts

3.15pm Drumming workshop

4pm Dance workshop

4.30pm Carnival Parade

5.15pm Live band and Brazilian and Latin dancers

7.30pm The Mooches

TARU Arts is an established non-profit art and education organisation committed to creating fun, exciting programmes and activities that encourage education and promote environmental awareness. Then for our first evening performance, we kick off in style with The Mooches, South East London’s resident good times guys and gals.
The Mooches are a London seven piece that blend ska, indie and blues sounds with rousing anthems and influences from britpop and mod culture. Their ethos is musical hooliganism with a heart, and songs focus on the beauty of the everyday; high streets, girls with bleach-blonde hair and the denizens of London nights out.
