The Garrison is working on an action-packed calendar of events for 2024

The Trust is currently preparing a programme of events throughout 2024, the website will be regularly updated detailing events on a monthly basis. A few essential dates to put in the diary:

Sunday 21st July - Interfaith Ceremony

Sunday 10th November - Remembrance Day

Sunday 15th December - Christmas Carols

All services are open to all
A variety of ticketed events are planned throughout the summer, from stand-up comedy from Tramshed, open-air film nights, classical concerts, music festivals and children’s theatre performances. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketsource or on the gate. Details to be announced. The venue is fully licensed for all events with a card/cash bar available. We look forward to welcoming you to the Garrison.

About

St George's Garrison Church in Woolwich, with its modern canopy roof and stunning mosaics, is both an evocative ruin and a contemporary space. Designed by Thomas H Wyatt in an Italian-Romanesque style, the Church was built between 1862-63 to serve the Royal Artillery in Woolwich. Today it is run by a local group, the Woolwich Garrison Church Trust who are committed to making it available for all to visit and enjoy. Directly opposite the Barracks in Woolwich, South East London, come and enjoy its beauty and peaceful garden.
